Brittny Nunez
Senior Brittny Nunez understands that education is a key asset to success, and her determination in her academic achievements proves it. She has a 4.2 grade-point average and has been a member of the National Honor Society for the past 3 years. She has been an Honor Roll and Principal Honor Roll participant for the last four years. In fact, she has also earned awards for creative writing as well as social studies, but feels her biggest achievement is having received the citizenship award. Some of her favorite things to do are to read and write. Because of that passion, she was in the Slam Poetry Society at school and is now a member of the Book Club. As the oldest of three, she has acquired leadership skills over the years that allow her to communicate with those around her. This graduating senior plans on attending the University of Miami to study Pediatric Nursing in pursuit of a career in oncology.  She has many goals and the perseverance to pursue them, but when needs a little extra motivation, she thinks of these words: “Twenty years from now, you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”
