I miss you
I miss your coffee stained teeth
your silver hair
And your cigarette smell
I miss holding your hand
And your warm hugs
I miss seeing your new homes
And the girlfriends that came along with them
I miss the long dinner conversations
And your observations
I miss long drives to the beach
And singing classics
I miss seeing you on weekends
And showing you how much I’ve grown
But no I am not to big to cry
Nor am I too big to need a dad

I miss calling you daddy
I miss calling you at all.

And I wish I could say I miss loving you
But how can I love someone who never loved me
